How Big Were the Dinosaurs?
Grade: 2nd grade

The purpose of this lesson is for students to gain a better understanding of how big the dinosaurs were by comparing the height of the teacher to the height of a Tyrannosaurus rex using yarn. Students are also comparing the sizes of different dinosaurs by using paperclips to measure lengths of dinosaurs and graphing their lengths.
