How Do Fossils Form Over Time?

The purpose of this lesson is for students to learn about how fossils are formed over time. Students will be comparing fossil remains with trace fossils, in which they will learn what kings of living things can become fossils. Students will learn about how fossils are formed by creating their own trace fossils using clay, and comparing them to real trace fossils
