The purpose of this lesson is for students to go on a field trip to Harford Glen (an outdoor education facility) in order for the students to observe plants and animals in their natural surroundings. Students will get to take pictures of the plants and animals they observe. Once back at the classroom, students will use the pictures taken to group plants and animals into different categories based on their observable features.
